Michel Joye

TRAINER IN AARAU AND BADEN AND OVERALL MANAGER SINCE 2003

I came across powerchair hockey in 2003 while looking for a sport with a pupil in a power wheelchair. The great fascination and joy of this sport has stayed with me ever since. As a coach in Baden and Aarau, it is important to me to support and encourage the players in their development and to pass on my enthusiasm for hockey.

I work as an occupational therapist in Aarau and am the father of three children who are also very keen on hockey (street hockey and floorball).

Ute Göbbels

TRAINER IN BADEN AND FINANCIAL MANAGER SINCE 2014

I am an occupational therapist at the Mathilde Escher Foundation in Zurich and a member of the OC team for the Powerchair Hockey World Championships in Sursee, which will take place from 9 to 14 August 2022.

This dynamic sport inspires me to the highest degree and plays a big and important role in my life. Working towards and achieving goals, growing together as a team, celebrating successes, accepting defeats, accompanying all of this as a coach and experiencing it together as a team is intense and has a joyful impact. I am deeply impressed by what powerchair hockey players achieve and what is possible.
